Cost includes:

*Staffing: (Mission directors, ministry coordinators, worship band, and staff for each work team)

*Meals: 5 hot breakfasts, 5 sack lunches, and 5 hot (full) dinners

*Lodging:  Bunkrooms with bunk beds, mattresses, private dressing area, mattresses, A/C, 14 private showers.

*Worship Services: Morning and nightly worship services

*Worksite materials and pre-project planning: (construction materials, day camp materials as needed)

*5 Days of ministry in the community: (Monday – Friday) from about 9:30am-4pm


What do groups (you) provide?

*Transportation and fuel for the week.  Plan 1-2 tanks of gas per vehicle while here.  .

*Adequate chaperones:  1:5 ratio recommended if High School.  1:3 recommended if Middle School. 

*Talented adults: Children’s ministry pros, Construction pros, Ministry pros!    

*Donations:  All donations (supplies, monetary) help us expand our ministry here in Leslie and Clay County!

*Planning:  in January, we will communicate needs for children’s ministry day  camps and other projects.  Recruit leaders in your team who can take the lead and help us plan day camps.  This is YOUR mission trip!

who can attend?

*The Mission is appropriate for all ages and groups, but is designed with teens in mind.   

*Adults of all ages are encouraged to attend and will be utilized as mentors, chaperons, and leaders

*Families can attend, but will be housed by gender.   Private accommodations are not available

*Children under age 12 may attend with their parents.  The environment is difficult for children under age 12.  Parents will be completely and solely responsible for their child’s supervision. 

location and dates

Location: Big Creek Missions Center, 90 Bullskin Road,  Bear Branch, KY 41714

We are about 2 hours north of Knoxville, TN and 2 hours south of Lexington KY.  via Interstate 75.   When travelling to Big Creek, please have our written directions on hand as a backup.  Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps will typically guide you correctly if you use “Big Creek Missions Bear Branch KY” as your destination.

Please contact us before registering if your group cannot stay the entire week.  We require groups to arrive on Sunday for training and orientation, but early departures may be ok. (No discounts provided for early departures)   

 

*July 4th week:   Your night out may be replaced with a community 4th of July celebration.
